When do I need to register an establishment?

When to register

If you want to make, prepare or store prescribed agricultural goods for export, you need to register an establishment. An establishment is the physical premises that contains these goods.

Changing location

If you change a registered establishment’s physical location you will need to revoke your registration and register a new establishment. For more information, go to Revoke a registration.

When not to register

Make sure you apply to register an establishment if you need to. Some people apply to register an establishment, when they should apply for something else to do with exporting their goods.
