Register a new establishment

Find out how to register a new establishment in your Export Service account.

To obtain a permit or certificate to export prescribed goods from Australia, you must make, prepare or store goods in a physical premises known as a registered establishment.

Goods can't be prepared at an establishment unless it’s registered. For more information, go to When do I need to register an establishment?.

To register a new establishment:

  1. Sign in to the Export Service.
  2. Under 'Your linked businesses', select the business name.
  3. In the side menu, select ‘Establishments’.
  4. Select ‘Register a new establishment’.
  5. Follow the steps to complete and submit the application.

We’ll assess your application and let you know if we can approve it in email.
