Can I register my establishment using the Export Service?
Establishments you can register using the Export Service, based on their type of goods for export.
Some commodity groups are classified as prescribed goods. If you prepare or store these goods for export, you need to Register a new establishment.
You can use the Export Service to register an establishment for the following commodities:
- dairy and/or dairy products
- eggs and/or egg products
- fish and/or fish products
- meat and/or meat products
- plants and/or plant products.
As well as registering, there are additional steps and rules to follow if you want to export organic goods.

Livestock export establishments
You must register an establishment to prepare live animals for export. However, you can’t use the Export Service to register a livestock export establishment. This will change in the future.

Non-prescribed goods
Non-prescribed goods are not regulated by Australian export laws. You don’t need to register an establishment to prepare non-prescribed goods.
